The Morgan County Historical & Genealogical Society has a wealth
of records for research use. These include many family records, deeds,
wills, census records, obituaries, marriage records, cemetery records,
death records, graveyard history, etc.

Since the Society is located on the second floor
of the Morgan County Library, it is closed on
Sunday and major holidays.
There is no charge to anyone that comes to the Historical Society and does his or her own research other than copy charges. We are glad to assist anyone while they are there. We are available to do research for others unable to come in person. We charge $15.00 per hour for research for those who cannot come to the Historical Society. The minimum charge is $15.00.
